Last summer, I spent two weeks in Nashville, TN with Shapes & Colors recording their On Display EP. Most of our time was spent in the studio with Aaron Sprinkle, but I took some time out to hang out with my buddy Steve Soboslai (Punchline). Steve told me about this compilation in tribute to Taking Back Sunday. I got Shapes involved. Both are featured on the track list.
Steve performed “New American Classic” under his solo moniker, Blue of Colors. Shapes & Colors contributed a take on “One-Eighty By Summer.” 13 more bands took part to recognize such an influential group in the alternative music scene.
