I got the chance to play this the other day. As you’d probably expect, its small enclosure and wrap-around screen makes this an equally immersive and disorienting experience.
Still, it was quite fun. Once I watched a line of 5 players jerk their joysticks in every direction in Death Star assault missions, I chose the Hoth snow speeder as my vehicle to chase down some low flying TIEs. Accelerating past falling AT-ATs and gunning a few Imperial fighters into an ashy oblivion was pretty exhilarating. 1
I failed to take down the shielded TIE at the end of the mission, making me bantha fodder.
