I think it’s so incredibly important for our youth to have positive role models. That importance is amplified for the young men and women touring the nation in bands. These youth experience a lot very quickly on the road. This often leads to trouble.
Bands need people to look up to. We need to look after our bands.
They also asked my friends Thomas Nassiff and James Cassar to write about things they’re passionate about. Thomas is doing a series on starting Bad Timing Records and James is putting a spotlight on the disabled in the music scene. Read their respective pieces here and here.
