VBR #13: 'Treat Every Band Like The Next Big Thing', with guest Ian Baldwin
Ian and I have been in contact since 2012 when his band States Away wanted to premiere their album on my music blog. Since then, I've been lucky to have Ian as a sounding board for my design ideas. He's often sent samples my way as well. Ian is one of those guys you hope to meet in this industry. Over the past 4 years, I have never heard a poor word said about him professionally or otherwise. Considering that we live in bordering Ohio music scenes, I think that means something. Word travels when people are shitty and such word has never reached my ears about this guy. He's the real deal and talented too.
